about me

I'm André Clérigo and I'm a Student in University of Aveiro

Started college in 2019 and I'm pursuing a Masters in Computer Engeneering

My main interests are related with Robotics and IoT doing projects with ESPs, Arduinos and Raspberry Pis

I also played CS:GO semi-professional from 2018 to 2020 and currently teach CS:GO on AGC

university of aveiro

Aveiro's University Campus

Currently I'm studying at Aveiro taking a Degree in Computer and Informatics Engeneering (LECI) by a Masters in Computer and Telematics Engeneering (MECT)

Grown a love for Computer Architecture subjects where I increased my knowledge on the inner components of a Microcontroller

my personal projects

minecraft website

After my Raspberry Pi 4 purchase I decided to create a Minecraft SMP Server for me and my college friends

But this had to be a special Server, so I decided to create a NodeJS Website that automatically turned ON and OFF the Minecraft Server

Players can also turn ON the Server manually from the website as well as see the Server's Leaderboard for Hours and Deaths

minecraft esp monitor

I also did an ESP monitor for the Website that you can checkout here

Using a Nokia5110 LCD, an ESP-32 and a custom 3D printed case I can have a little monitor beside my computer to always see who is inside the Minecraft Server playing

twitter weather bot

I use Twitter alot and most of my friends do to, so one day I decided to create Weather Daily Bot

The purpose of this bot is to tell the weather forecast to people who want to use it. The bot tags the person who is using it and gives information on the location they chose

To use it, you'll need to tag @WeatherDailyBot on Twitter followed by the Location you want to receive the forecast

Since this project was made initially for me and my friends, all the weather information is in Portuguese

raspberry pi pico

The Raspberry Pi Pico came out in January 2021 and to off my favorite things had merged! Raspberry Pis and Microcontrollers

Using the Pico proved to be alot more difficult than ESPs or Arduinos. The Pico was very recent and therefore its library pico-sdk was much more raw than something like an Arduino

Nonetheless I took the time to learn it and started to work on simple projects and even appeared on a #MonthOfTheMaking Showcase for the MagPi

cryptochecker

My recent project is cryptochecker an application made in Flutter and avaible for Android and Windows

This project was idealized by me and Bernardo Jordão after some crypto investments using Binance

The idea is to have a simpler app than binance, cryptochecker is a simple wallet to track your assets and your latest earnings

Even got the opportunity to publish the app on the snapstore Get it from the Snap Store

skills

As I said I have a soft spot in my heart for Robotics and I love everything that comes with it but I also enjoy Server Networking and Mobile development

The languages I most use are:

  • Java java
  • Python python
  • C/C++ CC++
  • HTML + CSS + JS html-css-js

The ones I want to improve:

  • NodeJS node
  • Dart dart
  • TypeScript typescript
  • MySQL mysql

In the future I would also like to learn other languages such as C# and Kotlin but time will come
